Let's kick off the new year with some epic events!

The fantasy role play game Lands of Flame has re-opened on forums! So everyone go check it out, I think its looking pretty freaking fabulous, and will be even more so once I finish the banner for it I'm working on ;D Link --> [link]

Somehow, its Negative's third year running and I really can't believe it! To celebrate there's now two new layouts to pick from, and a few new features that is really going to take my crazy little rpg to the next level ^_~

My New Years Resolutions:
stop being afraid. (will probably fail that one XD)
stop being so freaking lazy. (there's not too much hope there either >.>

Today, December 26th, is my 21st birthday.
Let's talk about everything that I have learned on this wondrous day.

People fail. Miserably. The only people who don't are two online friends that I never have, and probably never will, meet in person. Everyone else? They all suck. The people that I shouldn't even have to question... let me down. And part of me really feels like I shouldn't be that surprised. Today I find out that some people have gone behind my back to alter something that isn't there's and isn't mine either. I learned that I can't stand hearing people complain when they don't listen in return. And I'm tired, so damn tired, of trying to lift up my head and keep going--although the only reason I still am is because its not like there's anyone else who would lift it up for me. And I'm not writing this to get sympathy, to get your notice, to have people say 'oh, poor you, that sucks' because I know it'd be fake and pretend, said only because you feel you should, because you want to make yourself feel better about yourself, feel like you're better than they are, at least. The one person I would turn to in all of this I can't most of all. Because I've learned that I'm the least of her concerns, that I became so more than two years ago and that while she might listen, while she might give me the sympathetic ear I seem to crave--she would turn into smoke no sooner than I said that I was alright, and vanish once again. I have learned that I am no one, that I am the object hidden in plain sight... And therefore will never be seen.

Things I'd also like to point out while I'm feeling pissy. All you false gods of our community, all of you who rule the watchers on your throne of lies can go jump off bridges. You suck, actually, and if I had bigger balls I might call you on it, call you on the fact that your work isn't good, that it gets thousands of views, favs and comments because people idolize you, worship the crap you submit and then try and make it just like you, creating a trend of horrible pieces of work with hideous mistakes that makes my stomach churn. Seriously. You make me sick. Stop being so lazy and actually put effort into something, actually make your work worth viewing.

Now then. I think I'm going to go rain on someone else's parade and try to summon up enough fake cheery smiles to get myself through the night. Cheers!

PS -- The biggest thing I learned today? Hope is the single most frightening, crushing and terrible emotion of them all.

Let's see, first off, I no longer have Daisy. Turns out she was super sketchy oO; So now I have Paris, a little chihauhau (I dont like small dogs -_-) who actually just met her new owner today and will hopefully be adopted this week, YAY! We have a new kitten in the house :3 he's the most adorable thing evverrr!

My best friend *Jobii is on her way to spend the weekend with me, woot! ^_^ We're going to Outfest in philly this weekend, not that she's gay, but I am, and I'm dragging her with me heh. Umm, we're also gonna see zombieland and cook lots of epic things and yeah

Updates on Lands of Flame & Negative... both are running smoothly, the new updates to LoF are almost all complete and yay its looking awesome! I'm so excited and I can't believe how much I missed playing my humanoid characters ^_^ in RPG-related news (sorta) Surreal Studios is back, woot! *does a dance* So hurry your bums over and check it out!

Oi, right, lots of things to talk about xD;
First off--I'M GETTING A DOG TODAY! YAYYY!
I wasn't supposed to, haha. See, I'm part of a group called Animal Lifeline and since I moved off campus I can foster dogs at my townhouse apartment! So I was supposed to take this one dog for a week but then last minute I found out that someone else did, and then I was supposed to get this beagle mix today but then yesterday I found out that I wasn't getting him. So, bummed, I figured I just wasn't getting a dog this weekend... until a little while ago the president of our Lifeline club at school called and was like oh, btw, you're getting a lab pup today. so yay! I'll edit this with a picture whenever s/he gets here!

Yay! Here she is! Turns out she is a three year old lab mix called Daisy! She's extremely sweet <3

In other news, I'm totally taking on the epic project of Lands of Flame, giving it a face lift and re-advertising it as the Fantasy RPG it should be! I think that people have passed over it in the past thinking it was a Pern-dragon site or just not understanding the dragon bonding bit. But, LoF was always more than just the dragons... its a unique RPG that allows players to really create whatever fantasy character they want without the limitations of 'just vampire' or 'werewolf' or other such rpgs. So, stay tuned for more information about that! If anyone is interested in LOF, let me know!

In the boring news, school is fine, classes are all really dull this semester xD; I have a LOT of free time, which is bad for me, so I keep on taking on projects like doing stuff for the GLBTQ and other stuff so my brain doesn't have time to think. I still need to find a job, blah, lol and do like, a million other things xD; And no, me and that friend still haven't resolved things, and I don't really care if we ever do. I'm going to Hawkeyes again tonight with the hope that someone that works there will be working tonight, even if she wasn't the last two times we went Ah, well, third time has to be the charm, right?

Meh. Quick real life update: I've given up on attempting to be friends with this girl I know. We were friends, we dated briefly, we were still friends... but its just not working, and it has nothing to do with our brief dating thing. She's just not good at the whole friend thing :/ and I tried talking to her about it and she flat out refused to listen and said she didn't want to talk about it. So whatever. f* her. I don't need people in my life who don't want to be there.

In better news, the townhouse is amazing, I applied for a job AND I'm fostering a dog! Yay!

Anyway! Its beyond time I got back into the swing of things around teh internets :3 So, we're bringing back the amazing RPG known as Lands of Flame! *cheers* Its a really cool place fill with magic and wonder! And DRAGONS! All fantasy--werewolf, vampire, druid, witch, warlock, random thing you just made up--characters are welcome!
Humans are welcome too, but may be eaten. >.>

I've also got some cool updates for my darling equine RPG Negative! Which is doing amazingly, by the way <3 If you're in need of a fantastical place to rp your horse characters, stop on by! (*shamelessly whoring sites out*) But yeah, I'm working on a lineage project, so if anyone has any info on making such a thing for websites I'd be eternally grateful!
